Jacksonville-Onslow Bicycle Greenway Day (April 28th)



Ride starts and finishes at the Bicycle Gallery in Downtown Jacksonville.

Before and after the ride, we will have a free bicycle rodeo / safety inspection on kids bikes. Bicycle Rodeo starts at the Bicycle Gallery at noon and ends at 4pm.

What is the Bicycle Greenway Day?

The Bicycle Greenway Day, is a day when all cyclist, casual neighborhood riders, beach cruisers and kids alike, can come together and have some fun riding there bikes! The purpose of this ride is to have fun, and also create awareness about current bicycle paths in Town! We want to let the city of Jacksonville know that bicycles are important to the community as a way of exercise and entertainment.

We will be riding on the Rails to Trails Greenway, the ride starts at 2pm from the Bicycle Gallery in downtown Jacksonville and will follow the bike path to the Camp Lejeune main gate (6 miles) at this point people can turn around and ride back to the Bicycle Gallery or continue onto base and ride to your home.

What can I do to Help?
1. Come Ride your bike on the greenway with us at 2pm on March 24th.
2. Let your friends and family know about the ride.
3. If you cant make the 2pm ride, ride the greenway anytime on March 24th.
4. Mark your calendar for May 4th, the next Bicycle Fun Day.
